We are planning to travel to India with our newborn US Citizen ASAP. Have got the passport. Shall i apply for tourist visa for baby to enter into India and apply OCI from india. Is this possible.

OCI will take time, i am also looking for options. Checking for Visa on Arrival option also.
When are you planning to travel? OCI will take at least 2 months.
if you have that much time OCI is best option.
